Our Charitable Works

While tradition is important to us – nothing is as critical and demonstrating our love of Christ through charitable works.

The Order of Saint John Knight’s Hospitaller has medical & healing origins which has carried through to its good deeds of today.

We focus on helping hospitals, medical research and supporting the latest technological research to help those currently sick and to protect future generations from suffering. This has included sizable donations to key Sydney & NSW Based Hospitals.

One of our very enjoyable lunches (and examples) was the 2014 annual charity lunch for the Diabetes Centre supporting the St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney (download the article covering the event here).

The NSW Priory of the Order of Saint John has donated almost half a million dollars to a range of Institutions & Charitable Causes including St. Vincent’s Hospital (Sydney), Nepean Hospital, Blacktown Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, Millennium Foundation and various Australian Bushfire and Flood Appeals. Any donations are appreciated and we keep our administrative costs to a minimum to maximize results in the field.

The Order of Saint John (NSW) is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). All donations to the order of $2 and over are fully tax deductible.
